task at hand
I have been trying to figure out a way to get a piano from point "A" to point "my house"... Point "A" is about 20 miles away give or take, and involves 3 steps. point "my house" involves walking from the driveway to the back basement door around the house through the smooshy grass and over the dirty spaces in-between. alternative to the around the house path is up one step and then down 7 around some tight, piano-unfriendly corners. I have considered piano movers especially carefully, and have not come to a conclusion other than that they may be worth the price, i don't have the money for it. so i'd like to come up with a way to do it on-the-cheap. i know most of my readers have pianos.. or have moved pianos. actually i don't know that, but i am very skilled at making assumptions and have again produced a spectacular assumption. Tony and I once moved the piano alone, but were very nearly incapacitated, however we were in a hurry so we didn't really notice. the last time this piano lived in the basement which was around the time we moved in 3 or 4 people carried it around and (though i don't remember being one of them) i think it went quite well (for me and the piano at least) .

Brad moved his stinkin' piano and an organ (the musical type)several times, he can also probably tell you if it needs to be tuned...so, well we have a truck, a mini-van that has lots of room with the back seats out and not to sound silly but he's a pretty strong guy...maybe he can help? Are we talking a baby grand piano or an upright? Give us a call...
holy crap! yeah.. i'll call. i'll call you nine times.
oh yeah, and can i mention here how squealy Cat got when she read the baby name you guys picked?
Yay! I think it is worth a pizza trophy!
