taggled

OK.. so i said i'd write these two things. so i will. in two posts. just because i can. and ihave less than 20 minutes.. so i'm going to hurry about it.

my five favorite restaurants are:
1. The New Peking in 1997- the reason I qualify with a date is that i think the food is not quite what it was then. but it will remain atop the list because of the powerful sway that nostalgia has over me.
2. that new thai place in marysville. down by noble palace. it's really good. i hope it stays there despite the landlord situation. they fry tofu like nobody's business.
3. beth's cafe. despite being humiliated by attempting to park in front of it once... it's good and open all damn night.
4. Musashi. the best sushi place i've ever been. and it's also very inexpensive. i will always have a spot in my stomach for an unagi roll and some onigiri.
5. thai ginger in seattle. for quality and experience it's probably the best place on the list.. but because the price is high too, that makes it a little less frequent that we go...

the last place i'd like to mention but it didn't make the list because it's no longer in business is a little place called mama knish. i dont' know why it's gone and i can't eat knishes, but damn that place was tasty.

meh. thai ginger.

food is better at kaosamai in fremont. you would like it, the potatoes in the yellow curry are like little fluffy clouds with curry flavor bursting out.

opps. i forgot you cant eat the tatoes.
