piggy piggy
i made a ham today. well, i cooked a ham. it was totally tasty.. but i think that the good people at hilshire farms were to thank for most of that. but i cooked it and it wasn't all dry. i guess. anyway. so i ate too much, and i'm tired now.. like a person who ate too much.. you know? anyway... i wonder if i had taken a nap after the eating, it would have been difficult with all the people here, but still, maybe i could have just nodded off and felt better now.. i could take my trusty bao he wan, but i think the time of stagnation of food has passed.. now it'sjust a spleen qi problem, be it the result of longstanding liver qi stagnation, or just the potatoes i shouldn't have eaten.. either way.. i did eat a carrot and that felt pretty good. more people should eat a carrot. but not so many as to jack up the price of carrots.. seriously... that would suck.

Why does food that doesn't use pesticides or preservatives, or all of the manpower and machinepower it requires to use pesticides and preservatives cost more than the trash that's poison-y?
Read my most recent post and then help me. PLEASE!
Brett, you are one magnificent free association made flesh, and I totally dig that about you.
Would you read MY recent post, and then help ME? I definitely need it more.
Okay, forget all these peeps. You should read MY post because I need way more help than all y'alls!
Actually I don't, but I did want to secon Courtney's appreciation. Brett's blogs make me happy every time...
oh, and I took your recommendation and I've been listening to some string quintets by Mr. Brahms. Good stuff!
Oh, and to Jon, I bet the pesticides up the size and quantity of veggies, dropping the veggie to veggie cost... plus there's lots more pesticide carrots than there are non-pesticide... supply... demand... you know the jig.
Uh, Courtney? When you start your post with "today was so easy..." I automatically win. ;)
Bret, I don't need you, but we would like to hang out...maybe Brad needs you...hmmmm...I'm feeling a bit conflicted now.
