So we turned on the simpsons.. and of course Lisa said something perfect. Lisa complained at dinner that their menu was too unchanging, they have pork chops every friday for instance. the family agrees to go out to eat, and the idea of sushi comes up... they argue about it for a second with homer making inane points when Lisa finally says "this argument humiliates us both."
I have to try and use that at work tomorrow. except not at teh sponsor meeting.

Maybe you and I should just start saying that about Our Favorite Argument... the one I won't mention because you'll just get mad... but remember: "This argument humilates us both"!
Was that the episode where they tried a healthy meal and all but Lisa got violently ill ... not being use to eating "good stuff"???

no, it was the episode where they get sushi and the chef thinks he fed Homer some poisonous bits and they thought Homer had 24 hours to live. it's a very sweet episode, so sweet in fact that by the end you've forgotten the comedy gold at the beginning.
i think it's highly interesting that you assumed it was the vegetable gas episode... i think you might be planning to use that episode as an argument against having to eat vegetables yourself.
