so my air card on my tablet pc at work crapped out. for anyone who doesn't know, i spend at least two weeks of each month wandering around our campus collecting notes and observations, or implementing changes and so on.. so it's a big help to me that my computer is generally there with me and i'm on the network. this last month has been so much easier with it. yesterday i noticed an odd thing... though i was connected to our network, outlook only connected when i pushed the send-receive button.. dump.

anyway. today it just woudln't connect at all.. no VPN or anything. so the guy came to look at it and he says no good. so he took it away.. so now i'm not connected while i'm doing my stuff.
