I think most people know that Stephen Colbert is not really that way, especially because he drops the character a little bit in interviews.
The funny thing was that I made my dad watching, knowing how much of a kick he gets out of B.O. He watched the whole thing-- a rerun in which Colbert discussed soap operas, unfortunately-- and then said "He's got a great character... but I didn't really get into a lot of his material." So he admitted that S.C. did a great job of making fun of B.O. which made my day.
That show is a parody? I think not. Unless the definition of parody is to declare the truth from up on high.
Dictionarys are overrated.
excellent, both of you. excellent. rather. indeed.
shannonononon-that's rad aboot your dad.. i hate BO, because i don't think bullies should consider themselves good at arguing. cutting people off and talking over them doesn't mean you have a point. i think that's amusing though.. to a point.
tononononon- hah. yes. dictionaries are dumb. unless you just want to know how to spell shit.

All truth and no heart, eh? "If you're looking for 'sympathy,' it's in the dictionary between 'shit' and 'syphilis.'"
OK, Mr. Colbert just said, "Sharing is Caring" as part of "The Word" and then the screen flashed up: "It's true because it rhymes."
I think we have a new catch phrase.
Oh and: "I don't think bullies should consider themselves good at arguing. Cutting people off and talking over them doesn't mean you have a point" should:
A) go on the "Words in the Air" post and
B) be sent to B.O.'s email
