ok.. so i think every one needs to know that right now Cat and i are watching a movie.. one Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter. no.. there's no additional punctuation for clarity's sake. How many movies have you seen where the sound is wicked awesome, and the plot leaves absolutely nothing to be desired? 1? maybe 2? well, this won't add any to your list. i'll say this. Jesus is an earring-wearing Canadian hipster driving back to kill some vampire lesbians. now, don't get me wrong. their choice to use "ladies of sappho" as the prime vampire targets is not homophobic.. there's an early remark by either jesus or some random [spike mohawked] priest that it's not the church's place to judge. there's altogether too much quoting of the bible.. i don't mind it in christopher walken prophecy movies, but i don't like hearing dirty lookin Canadian street punks quoting scripture. something's just creepy about it. somewhere in here is the "god of Mexican wrestling" ... Strongbad anyone? anyhow.. suburban Canada looks beautiful, if that changes anything. and Cat wants to recommend that several people see it. I won't go that far. when i was younger i made everyone i knew watch Brazil with me.. which is good.. but not that good.. this is much worse.. not like dead alive.. no not at all..
