i tried to make some kind of lunch today.. that utilized the things i had, and didn't taste lame. i looked through yesterday's leftovers, some other random veggies in the fridge, whatever else was around.. just sitting waiting for me to eat it. i found some grapes.. they were really good, so i put those in a bowl.. then i found the end of the cottage cheese.. figured those would make a nice snack.. then i found the old celery i got.. it was sitll good.. so i thought i'd want like celery with peanut butter.. but wait.. peanut butter makes me sick. so i went with my substitute. sesame butter aka tahini. boo. let me warn you now. do not put tahini on celery and expect something like peanut butter and celery. something crucial was lacking. it makes great toast, makes an interesting pizza sauce, tahini even makes good dip.. but in two of those scenarios you ahve to do something to the tahini.. suffice it to say, the entire plate (save the one i ate) of celery remains. and iwant something else to eat. so i'll go get that now. so sad. i gotta go to the store for more crap anyway.. hm..

aren't we eating gyros tonight?
i just went shopping and bought some really good stuff. like 2% milk and good fiber cereals. also: fish sticks, stuff for burritos and black bean burgers. you should buy the same things i bought and you will feel full just thinking about it!

what about eating the celery with hummus instead? I bet that'd be a lot better...

Nice try with The Celery Experiment.

Anywho... I posted. I posted posted posted in my damn blog after you harangued—yes, HARANGUED—me to death. So go read what I posted. And see the monster you've created.

I'll call you probably Wednesday night if that works for you. Then you, me and Catmo can discuss the crew's coming to town, the possible Friday night slumbering (I think Cat's idear was great) and Birthday Crêpes thereafter. Ciao for now.
