excellent

First of all. i capitalized that initial letter of a sentence. how uncommon. So, tonight we got a series of unfortunate events from netflix. i had never been particularly interested in it. rather. anyway. we watched it and i have to say i was pleased. i have enjoyed the artwork of edward gorey since i was really small and i would watch the opening credits to that show on PBS, 'muystery' or whatever it was actually called.. it was just a weekly show (thursday nights at 9) that featured a different mystery each week.. anything from sherlock holmes to agatha christie story. i suppose that's not exactly a broad range. well, this show wasn't broad ranging in my recollection. however i should say now that i usually didn't watch past the edward gorey opening credits. anyway. i had a gashlycrumb tinies poster even... i can't find it right now though. i wonder where it's gotten to. anyway. this movie had a great deal of art and such in the style of that. so it pleased the gothmo geek inside me. which was starving in this cheery world of mine.. hah. no. i don't suppose it was starving. but neither was it fat. and with that i am going to sleep because i have to work tomorrow. and then again on saturday, but not at my job.. saturday i have to do something else fun.

I just watch that in the theater last night, and the ending made both Laura and I very happy... I've never seen anyone put so much effort into an ending credits... very satisfying end to the movie... gradually eroded my irritation at the kids not getting top billing in a movie where they were the stars. >.<;
