their names are called, they raise a paw.
Malison got married this weekend. well, friday. it was raining like nobody's business, but still everyone had the biggest smiles.
So it was outside, in a really cool japanese garden in severely south seattle. we took some pictures on two of these bright red bridges. and in these little secluded clearings.
I'll see if i can wrangle up some pictures to put up on here. i probably can't. but cat will on her website. i took a crappy video, well it wasn't crappy so much as amateur. well.. crappy suits it better. but we can watch it on the freakin computer. maybe we'll put that online. i got to the zoo with my dad at 2 to deliver something.. i dont'remember. but we finished that and went on ahead to the garden. it was a half-hour away.
we got there first. no one else supposed to gt there till like 4, so i got out and checked the place out while my dad took a nap. i walked everywhere in the park. it was pretty big. this whole time it was really nice, sunny, not raining. i figured i wouldn't need that umbrella or whatever... i was wrong...
nevertheless, people arrived, pictures were taken. for two hours. they were mostly good. a few were blurry. and eventually it was time for the wedding to start. it started raining, pretty hard, and i helped to hold the musician's umbrellas and music, so it didn't blow into the rain. it was very nice. the whole thing was done under umbrellas and it was really cool. the ceremony began at6:02 and ended at 6:08 no time was wasted with garbledegook about anything.. so when it was over, we ran up to the parking lot and all raced to the zoo, where we'd be in a covered space.
the zoo place was cool because they had these heat lamps hanging from the ceiling, alison's work let them use a soundsystem and they had a dance floor and really good catering, it was tasty. and people were warm and dry and dancing and full and it was pretty good. we went home at 11 i think, which wasn't bad. it couldn't have been better.
